E15 Siemens dishwasher error E15 — water leak

What it means

If your Siemens dishwasher shows E15: the leak protection (Aquastop / base-pan sensor) has detected water and shut off the supply.

Likely causes

Leak from an internal hose or joint, damaged door seal or gasket, cracked tub, excess foam, leak at the inlet hose connection.

Turn off the tap and unplug the appliance. Look for water underneath and at the hose connections. Use less detergent.
